Pond Pump
The MD-2 pump lasted me 12 years befor I had to replace it. The pump run 24/7 365 days a year. I never shut this pump off. I changed the filter once every 30 days.
Pros:Bust pump on the market
Cons:none that I can think of

Great Pump
The pump performed as stated and i am well pleased. The other pump i bought from the net did not work out of the box so i looked for a good old american company and bought ponds and glad i did.
Pros:good long cord, good specs showing the lift at different heights, good customer service
