I bought this filter in April 2012, and it came complete with all the bulkhead fittings I needed to retrofit this to my existing pump and above-ground intake system. It seems extremely well-built and designed, and has worked admirably so far (hasn't been exposed to a Colorado winter yet). I was a bit suspicious about the filter medium's ability to adequately clean the water in my fish-filled pond, so I augmented it with a 25# mesh bag of ceramic filtration pebbles on top of two fiber mats place just on top of the bottom hard-plastic grate; I also added a UV light into the system just before the filter intake. My water is clean and clear, fish are happy, and so am I. The basic product is, thus far, top-notch and far easier to clean than a pressurized filter.
