The IonGen™ G2 drastically reduces pond maintenance and provides crystal clear water without the use of chemicals.
A microprocessor inside the IonGen™ G2 control panel causes the outermost atoms of copper, silver and zinc to lose an electron, creating a positive ion. The positive ion attempts to flow from one of the Probe's bars to the other and is swept away by the flow of water where the ion can begin to treat the water. The IonGen™ G2 Probe is self cleaning, using reverse polarity to prevent scale and debris build-up on the Probe's bars. The metal alloys in the Probe are scientifically blended and tested to produce maximum results. The IonGen™ G2 System is safe for fish and plants and is not toxic to any animals that may drink from the pond.

IONGEN REALLY WORKS!!!
I bought this after suffering massive amounts of string algae in my water feature. I could almost watch it as it grew, that's how fast it was taking over. I tried nets, a twirly stick attached to my drill (that worked pretty good, but it just came back and became a daily chore). It's a man made Texas creek 150 ft long with 7 small ponds and 7 small waterfalls. I installed this thing at the 'head the bay' with a setting of 10 and in 4 days my string algae was GONE. I have since slowly lowered it to 5 and even the other algae is disappearing.Whoever thought this thing up is genius.
Pros:no more algae problem. And very easy to install. I jut added the PVC attachment to the pipe where it dumps back into the pond. No digging.
