All Little Giant Hydroponic pumps are manufactured with a corrosion-resistant body specifically designed for out of water use only. Ideal for applications that require intermittent pump cycling/water flow. Quiet operation for a better indoor experience. The UPSP-5 Series portable utility transfer pump is perfect for intermittent duty, moving water from one location to another. The pump can be used to pump water from flooded basements, watering lawns and gardens, and draining water heaters. The pump can also be used to boost water pressure for washing vehicles, sidewalks and more. This pump is not submersible. Our extensive product line allows you to choose which pump features are best for your application .

Special Note:
Pump should be located no more than 15-ft above or away from inlet source. Only use rigid pipe or reinforced hose for the suction hose. NEVER USE REGULAR GARDEN HOSE OR NON REINFORCED HOSE ON THE SUCTION SIDE. Use a strainer on the suction inlet when pumping from a source where foreign objects or small debris may be sucked into the pump. The strainer should not restrict the flow of water into the pump.
