Survivor
It started its life pumping water every day for my tile saw for a couple or few years. Then I replaced it, just in case, with another one and let the first one bounce around in my work truck as a spare for a long time. I plugged it in on Wednesday afternoon to drain the rainwater from our fountain, less than two hours of pumping probably. On Thursday evening I saw it and said to myself its ashamed that I ruined that nice little pump because I forgot to unplug it. Then on Sunday afternoon after vacuuming out the last half inch of water, it was time to face my neglectful mistake and get rid of my old friend the pump. But wait- it was still running! IT RAN FOR FOUR DAYS WITHOUT WATER! I can hear it run now ( barely audible before) but it still works and it didnt catch on fire!

Great little pump
I have a walk out basement that used to flood all the time. I keep this pump at the ready with the hose attached, ready to be plugged in. It's been left out in the winter covered with snow and ice. Just yesterday it saved my basement from flooding from Henri.

Little Giant pond /fountain pump is the best pump on the market
This is the third Model 1 pump I have purchased over a 20 year period. It runs 24 hours per day in my fountain and always comes out of Winter storage ready to give year after year.
Well made and a consistent excellent performer.
