Out of Stock - Unfortunately the manufacturer has changed the formulation since they said there is a key ingredient that they no longer have access to. They said they will be reformulating the product in the future to be concentrated but for now they use the same part number as the concentrate and the product now treats only 7680 gallons per bottle instead of 19,200 gallons that it used to treat. We decided it was best to discontinue this product for now and when Kordon starts making the more concentrated product again we will again order it in. AmQuel+ - how it works, compared to regular AmQuel
the complexes in the AmQuel+ products, including Pond AmQuel+ do the following: They detoxify any chloramines, chlorines, and nitrogen compounds present in the water. They split apart the chloramines (composed of chlorine and ammonia), detoxify the chlorines in seconds and the ammonia within five minutes. They break the toxic nitrogen compounds in the water apart, gassing out their oxygen and hydrogen components out of the water into the air, and preventing the nitrogen compounds from recombining in toxic form. These compounds include all the ammonia/ammonium, nitrites, nitrates, pheromones, and all other toxic organic compounds for which there are no common names -- yet are important to detoxify to be harmless to fishes and other aquatic life. The nitrogen components are mostly detoxified within five minutes and the slight remainder is detoxified over the next 24 hours. The compounds now broken apart are in the detritus and transparently soluble in the water. They are consumed over time by the sewage-consuming bacteria and algae.

Direction for use:

DOSAGE WITH LIQUID AMQUEL+ PRODUCTS
For control of chlorine alone in public water supplies (e.g, tap water) add one ounce (30 ml) per 150 gallons of fresh or salt water to remove in excess of what is in public water supplies (public water supplies have less than 3 ppm chlorine).

AmQuel+ is harmless to plants, fishes, invertebrates, and other aquatic life forms. This product is safe for use in aquariums and ponds and will not interfere with biological filtration or its bacteria. When AmQuel+ detoxifies ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and other organic compounds, it breaks the links of molecules apart. The bacteria do not know the difference and eat the parts, just as they would the whole original compounds.
